The insanity starts tomorrow (Jan 08) in Las Vegas. The 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will see a focus on the new 4K high definition television screens and connectivity. One of the newest connection/communication developments is NFC (near field communication). My new Windows Phone 8 has this technology built in. All you have to do is physically tap another NFC enabled device and they connect wirelessly with each other! How cool is that? I can give someone a picture, movie file, song, contact information simply by tapping their smart device. When the two units move far enough away from each other the connection is terminated.
